with David Pettibone This is a monthly series of classes, each segment progressively focusing on different aspects of drawing and skill development. We will explore the versatility of the different drawing mediums, from charcoal to pencil to colored pencils. Utilizing simple still-life and references, Pettibone will lecture, demonstrate and teach one-on-one, taking the students through the different steps towards the development of a finished drawing. This class is designed for those who are new to drawing or want a refresher. with David Pettibone This is a monthly series of classes, each segment progressively focusing on different aspects of oil painting and skill development. We will cover the basics of oil techniques while developing paintings from start to finish utilizing simple still-life and references. The class will explore alla prima painting, grisaille, glazing and more through various projects. Pettibone will lecture, demonstrate and teach one-on-one, taking the students through the different steps towards the development of a finished painting. David Pettibone received an MFA at the New York Academy of Art, the NYAA Fellowship and the Walter Erlebacher Award for Excellence in Anatomy.
