Briana Hume

​I was born in Homer, but grew up in in southern California. I returned to Homer seven years ago with my husband and our 3 boys. 

I've loved art since I was old enough to hold a crayon (to the horror of my parent's walls) and have enjoyed playing with many mediums over the years: pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, torn paper, pretty much anything I could get my hands on! 

I studied art at Grossmont College in San Diego where I discovered my great fondness for figure painting. Since then I've had the privilege of attending several painting classes here at the UAA Homer College which was a truly encouraging experience. 

I look forward to sharing my passion with fellow lovers-of-art!
